God created humanity in His image. As a unified, whole people. Sin disrupted this. So since then, we are all longing for that unity. To be understood and to understand.
So, all throughout history we have been striving to regain what was lost. But in vain. It is outside the realm of possibility. And God continues the unfolding of His plan. At the right time, He sends His Son.
His Son, as creator, has the potential to offer his life to purchase back his creation. But first He must live a perfect life in obedience and submission to His Father. He accomplished this – even to the point of death on a cross. (Philippians 2:8)
What God accomplished in Jesus Christ is nothing less than restoring the opportunity for wholeness back to the human race. But He will not force the cure on the sick. We must acknowledge our need and desire the cure.
Glory to God! We can receive this gift of forgiveness and Life! We can be grafted into the True Vine and have the Source of eternal life indwelling us. We can enter into the way of wholeness. We only have to believe and receive. That’s it! But not only one time in our life, but continually, daily, even moment by moment. Until we take our last breath of air.
