The Lord Jesus Christ will never leave us or forsake us. Nothing can separate us from Him. He is love and we are enveloped in Him. God does not just carry us at certain difficult times in our life. He carries us every moment from our first step of faith.
In God’s mysterious way He draws us to Jesus. And as soon as we challenge Him, “Lord Jesus, if you are real, you’ll show yourself to me!”, He plunges, baptizes, immerses us into God.
Our rebirth into the life of God puts us in a whole new realm and connects us with every other believer in Christ. And transformation is irresistible in this place. We are faced with puzzling circumstances that challenge us and force us to look to Jesus. And over time we learn to look to Him more and more. Instead of changing our circumstances, he changes us through them. And he molds and shapes us throughout our life as we trust Him into the end product that “He chose in Christ from before the foundation of the world” (Ephesians 1:4).
And our mind is changed from viewing the body of Christ as divided and separated and at various stages of deception or revelation to seeing the body of Christ as one. Jesus Christ has united all of His scattered children into one. Are we believing Him? Our inheritance is Jesus Christ and He is in the saints! He has dispensed Himself by the Spirit into every believer. So, our inheritance (Jesus) is IN the saints! And when we separate and refuse to fellowship with one another, we deprive ourselves of our inheritance.
The more we interact and fellowship with other believers in Christ (that is all that is required from us) the more Christ is experienced and the greater our perception of Christ is. We see more and more the width, length depth and height of Christ!
And we will know the love of Christ which passes knowledge – and we will be filled with all the fullness of God.
