It is so very freeing to begin to understand that when I died in Jesus Christ on the cross, not only did my old nature die that is self-absorbed, selfish and offendable, but it is also filled with fear, and doubt and self-condemnation. The encouraging reality is that that part died too! When the Lord reveals that the voice of the enemy in our head is not real, that that voice is actually dead, seriously, words cannot convey the joy, the gratitude, the overwhelming love for what He has freed us from.
